The third sector of knowledge: a challenge in the management of intangible assets for social purposes

Resumen
En las organizaciones de hoy, el enfoque industrial cede su espacio al conocimiento como centro de la estrategia. El presente estudio aborda una temática de elevada aceptación, la gestión del conocimiento y un contexto con escasa exploración: el tercer sector. La investigación acompaña la necesidad de dotar al sector de competencias para su mejor desempeño; ante la necesidad de su actuación conforme a los fines que persigue. Es un reto abordar esta intersección, por ser un momento en la historia en el que la humanidad requiere generar conciencia sobre el valor del conocimiento y su consecuente impacto social. La metodología se sustenta en explorar y analizar los aportes de destacados estudios que imperan en el tema. Los resultados permiten conocer los avances y tendencias de desarrollo de la gestión del conocimiento en el tercer sector, aportando en el reconocimiento de barreras como la informalidad, la falta de recursos y bajos niveles de conciencia sobre la importancia de la gestión del conocimiento, estimulando el aprovechamiento de fortalezas como el altruismo, un entorno participativo y la abundancia en conocimientos, invitando a los políticos, investigadores, académicos, estudiantes, colaboradores, voluntarios, expertos, directivos, socios, grupos de interés y comunidad a vincularse, impulsando a enfrentar desafíos como aprovechar la tecnología, construir comunidades, motivar al personal y crear una cultura a favor del conocimiento, para lograr maximizar el bienestar social, mejorar el desempeño y la calidad, tomar decisiones basadas en el conocimiento y generar sostenibilidad, rápida adaptación a entornos dinámicos, apertura a nuevos horizontes e innovación.
